How much do Citadel traders actually make?
Citadel is one of the most successful hedge funds in history with $64 billion assets under management. To get an idea of how much Citadel traders make, let’s discuss about two of Citadel’s most profitable traders.
Adam Frame bought a £42.9 million mansion in London in June 2023 (see article below). Adam is a European Gas trader who studied Economics at Lancaster University before doing a Masters in Finance at the London School of Economics. Adam spent 12 years at the Australian investment bank Macquarie before joining Citadel in 2018.

Chris Foster donated £25 million to his Oxford Univeristy college, Manfield college (see article below). Chris is a Senior Portfolio manager in European Natural Gas Trading and has a First class degree in Mathematics from Oxford University.
